Hannah Kearny: A Ski Season of Wins & Comfort in Sense

If you follow Sense on facebook (and please do!) then you’ve probably seen us hyping up Professional Skiier, Hannah Kearny. She’s not only an Olympic Gold Medalist, but she’s had quite the season this year and we’re MORE than excited for all her successes, plus her sharing her Sense love along the way!

Hannah had a set back early in the season that posted her up for several months.”Unfortunately, I took a spill during training on October 5th and had to spend 5 days in the hospital with a bruised liver, 2 fractured ribs and a small pneumothorax in my right lung. Once I was allowed to change out of my hospital gown, my teammates brought me some of my own clothing and my Sense wear was quite comfortable for my forced bed rest. Luckily, I was never in a lot of pain and I heal quickly.” –Hannah Kearny

And heal quickly she did! Hannah used her injury as a boost to take full advantage of her opportunity and fight for what she wanted- to win the World Cup. Read more details of Hannah’s journey to the yellow bib straight from Team USA here.

Hannah is one incredible athlete and woman! We’ve been honored to work with Hannah for years now and just adore that she shares her adventures across the world with Sense. “After a 33 day trip that took me to Calgary, Utah, Colorado, Russia and Japan I returned home for four days. I did laundry, repacked my bags and now I am waiting for the bus to Boston to catch my flight to Norway for World Championships. With our hearts booming, Hannah won the FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships women’s moguls and didn’t stop there.

This past weekend Hannah took first place in Are, Sweden for women’s Dual Moguls and is now headed to Spain this weekend for finals. We cannot be more excited for her season and are rooting for her all the way to finals!

Sense-ational Supporter | Olympian Hannah Kearney!

Time for the 2012 Summer Olympics! But we’ve got our eye on a special Winter Olympian Gold Medalist and Sensational Sense Supporter, Hannah Kearney!

Hannah, native of Vermont, has been dominating the ski world for years. She not only swept the World Cup Overall Title in 2009, but she’s also got an Olympic mogul skiing Gold Medal under her belt. There’s one thing for sure, she’s an incredible athlete and woman! But that’s not all; she’s also a Sensational Sense Supporter. Here’s why:
